This weekend, teenagers and youth leaders will gather at the South Weymouth Church of the Nazarene for the annual district NYI convention.
While they will worship together and have some fun together on Friday night, the primary reason for the gathering is Saturday’s business meeting regarding the work of the New England District’s Nazarene Youth International organization. They will review the past year and plan for the year to come.
Pray for all of the representatives at the meeting, as well as all the youth groups they represent throughout New England.
A Prayer for Teenagers
Lord, thank you for blessing our New England district teens with special talents and abilities they use in service to you.
Part of embracing their identity in Christ brings to light the divine purpose they each possess. I pray these precious teens will know they were created with great purpose and intention, and this will help them to approach life with enthusiasm and meaning. Thank you for the future and hope that they possess through you.
May your plans for their lives brighten the paths before them and draw them closer to you each day. As they seek to discover your will for their future and the future of New England NYI, help them to trust in you more and more each day.
I lift up their dreams, ambitions, and plans to you, Lord. You are the source of all wisdom and understanding, and I pray you would guide them in making wise decisions for their future. Please open their eyes to see the path that you have prepared for them and give them the courage and confidence to follow you.
Bless them with opportunities for success and grant them the strength and perseverance to walk with you, Lord. Help them to trust in you and your perfect plan for their lives.
