Welcome home to Bethel

Grounded Beliefs, Open Hearts

What We Believe

Bethel belongs to the International Church of the Nazarene, a protestant denomination founded to serve people living on the margins of society.

Our faith is shaped by Christ’s life, death, and resurrection. At Bethel, it is embodied through:

  • God’s Radical Welcome: Every person belongs, even before you believe.
  • Faith in Action: We believe scripture compels us toward justice, compassion, and inclusion in practical ways.
  • Sacraments as Grace: Communion is a means of grace. We gather each week to remember Christ’s life, death, and resurrection and to receive Christ’s presence through bread and juice.

Questions, curiosity, and a journey of discovery are always welcome.

“There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:28, NIV)

Bethel’s beliefs are rooted in this radical unity—God’s grace is for everyone, without exception or condition.
