Bethel has a very special tradition during the month of August. We slow down, dial back the activities, and take time for rest and rejuvenation, both physically and spiritually. We call it our “August Sabbath.”
We will continue to worship together throughout August, but services will have a slightly different rhythm. For August 2025, we will pay close attention to several of the smaller books of the Bible, the ones that aren’t often part of the lectionary.
