Flourishing in Exile & Returning in Gratitude
In this week’s lectionary scriptures, Jeremiah’s exiles are told to seek the welfare of Babylon, to build lives of meaning even away from home. Psalm 66 celebrates God’s saving deeds. Paul charges Timothy to carry Christ’s message faithfully. In Luke, only one of the healed lepers returns, thanking Jesus.
