In this week’s lectionary scriptures, Jeremiah invites us to imagine God as a potter, shaping and reshaping, forming lives anew. Psalm 139 reassures us of God’s intimate knowledge. Philemon calls for reconciliation and restoration toward a brother in Christ. And in Luke, Jesus challenges us to count the cost of discipleship, being shaped by allegiance to Him above all.
