World Communion Sunday

Honest Lament and Courageous Faith

In this week’s lectionary scriptures, Lamentations paints a vivid picture of loss and exile. Paul encourages Timothy to fan into flame his calling, relying on God’s power. In Luke, Jesus teaches that faith seedlings—small though they may be—can move mountains. We are called to lament faithfully and live courageously.

What sorrow or doubt is God inviting you to place in God’s hands, and how might your faith rise in response?
