To demonstrate good stewardship and transparency with the whole Bethel community, the Church Board is providing this financial update. Since the overall spreadsheet is more detailed than many people find helpful, this is a very basic summary. Narrative
Bethel’s fiscal year runs from April 1 to March 31. As of the end of October, we are 7 months through our fiscal year.
- On Oct. 27th, we had to replace our cracked boiler, a significant unexpected expense. It will ultimately cost Bethel $16,000, spread over 4 monthly payments of $4,000 each.
- We have begun special fundraising efforts for this project. October’s financial report includes $4,000 of special donations toward the boiler, as well as the first $4,000 payment.
