Let Your Light Shine
Psalm 112 describes those who fear the Lord as people whose lives shine with generosity, righteousness, and steadfast trust. Isaiah confronts empty religious practice and calls God’s people to a faith that loosens the bonds of injustice and brings light to places of need. Paul reminds the Corinthians that true wisdom comes not from human cleverness but from the Spirit who reveals the mind of Christ. In Matthew, Jesus names His followers as salt and light, calling us to live in ways that illuminate God’s goodness before the world. This week’s scriptures show that faith rooted in God’s Spirit becomes visible through justice, compassion, and lives that reflect Christ’s light.
Where is God calling you to let your faith be seen through action this week?
