At the Cross: Sorrow, Silence, and Love

Good Friday is the most solemn day of the Christian year. We remember the suffering and death of Jesus on the cross, an act of profound love in the face of human brokenness.

It is a day that does not rush past grief or try to explain it away. Instead, we pause. We listen. We sit with the weight of the story.

And yet, even here, there is meaning. Christians call this day “good” not because of what was done to Jesus, but because of what God was doing through it, drawing near to us in suffering, and opening the way to new life.

This service offers space for reflection, prayer, and quiet. It is a time to bring our own burdens, questions, and sorrows, trusting that God meets us even here.
