Fresh Food and Clothing for Our Neighbors
Beginning Wednesday, April 15, Bethel Church of the Nazarene will offer free produce every other Wednesday from 6:00-8:00pm in the lower level of the church. On April 15, our Clothing Closet will also be open.
Offered in partnership with the Esther R. Sanger Center for Compassion and Fair Foods, this new ministry is one way we hope to support our neighbors in Germantown and beyond. Bethel’s mission is rooted in compassion, hospitality, justice, and care for our community, and this project reflects that ongoing commitment to serving others with compassion and respect.
If food or clothing would be helpful to you or your household, you are warmly invited to come. There are no eligibility requirements, no sign-up, and no ID needed. Produce is available free of charge. Optional donations are welcome and will help support the ongoing costs of the program, but they are never required.
To access the distribution, please enter through the main entrance of the church, then go down the stairs and to the right. Bethel Church is located at 41 Empire Street in Quincy. Future distribution dates will be posted on our church calendar.
We hope this will be a practical source of support for neighbors in Germantown and beyond. Whether you come for produce, clothing, or simply to learn more, you are welcome here.
Volunteers?
We are looking for volunteers to help with pickup, setup, distribution, and clean-up for this new ministry. If you would like to serve, please speak with I’Esha.
