Author: Pastor lisa

Serving as Bethel's Youth Pastor and Pastor of Missional Engagement through Summer 2025, Pastor lisa (she/her) graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Eastern Nazarene College and her Master’s in Theological Studies from Boston University’s School of Theology. In the upcoming year, lisa hopes to begin her doctoral work in the Spiritual Formation track at Nazarene Theological Seminary. With experience case managing in the field of homelessness at Father Bill’s and Mainspring, lisa currently has tri-vocational placements at the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office, Brewster Ambulance (in the Quincy 911 System), and here at Bethel, where she enjoys the wild energy and compassionate hearts of our teens. She has a heart for vulnerable communities and is seeking faithful ways to engage compassionate care and create welcome in religious communities for those typically left out of Christian spaces. She has a great regard for the power of presence and listening, and firmly believes that — just as Jesus often spoke through story — stories have the power to change hearts, minds, and lives. Pastor lisa’s specific ministries at Bethel include Thursday night Teen Extreme, organizing youth activities, and managing the community clothing closet.
